Remarkable behaviour : It lives vertically stuck in the sand inside a hole that is longer than its body. This species frequents sandy areas subject to current where it eats the zooplankton that it catches by getting out a part of its body from the hole.
Biology : At the slightest warning, it buries itself completely in the sand. It lives alone or in small groups.
